1x Projects Procurement Officer

ILZ Consulting is Urgently looking for a Projects Procurement Officer based anywhere in SA but willing to relocate to Durban.

Responsibilities:
• Procurement activities and procedures
• Provision of procurement reports to the company management with procurement analytics and recommendations
• Utilises awarded projects forecast in order to maximise future pricing opportunities
• Uses data analytics to drive procurement decisions
• Builds and maintains supplier database and takes lead on supplier quarterly business reviews
• Consistent update and maintenance of supplier details on the CRM
• Ensures the company purchase process is followed by internal stakeholders
• Actively contributes to the continuous improvement and automation of the procurement activities and procedures
• Sees procurement activities across product, technical services and logistics to completion including product purchase and provision of updates and lead times to internal team members
• Uses experience within IT procurement to build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers within the IT channels

Qualifications:
• CIPS diploma or similar tertiary level qualification in procurement and/or finance
• Minimum of three years working within a procurement role, preferably within an engineering or construction sector
• IT systems knowledge and skills including knowledge and understanding of systems such MS Office suite and CRM platforms

Salary: R120,000.00 – R144,000.00 per annum

• IT procurement: 5 years (Required)

Willingness to travel:
• 50% (Required) as our all projects are located in various locations throughout the province and country
